THE HYDAC IOM was specially developed for use in cost-sensitive applications and offers the option of expanding control systems by up to 22 additional inputs and outputs in a simple and uncomplicated manner. The intelligent and configurable I/O module can be controlled via a certified driver module using the CAN J1939 standard.

The hardware for the HSW IOM is a certified HY-TTC 32S controller from TTControl, which is specially designed for the complex challenges of mobile machines.

The HYDAC IOM meets functional safety requirements according to EN ISO 13849 PL d, IS0 25119 AgPL d and ISO 19014 MPL d. It is therefore suitable for a wide range of mobile and stationary applications.

The conformity of the HYDAC IOM with SAE J1939 enables simple and fast integration into a wide range of machine applications, especially with the aid of our certified driver module.

Comprehensive fault management in accordance with J1939, including DM messages, and integration into the service tool also simplify fault diagnosis. Despite the high functional safety requirements, the HYDAC IOM achieves a low bus load, particularly in comparison to I/O expansion modules based on CanOpen Safety.

Thanks to the flexible and user-friendly configuration in the Subsystem Configuration Tool (SCT), HYDAC IOM can be quickly prepared for the application and offers a wide range of setting options in use, such as the safe activation and deactivation of all or specific output pins for different operating modes.
