    Regardless of whether you want to gain initial experience with TSE or build up your existing test processes more systematically: In our testing training, you will gain the methodological and practical knowledge necessary for structured unit and system tests with TSE.

    The training teaches not only how to use the tool, but also how to sensibly structure, derive from requirements, execute, and document test cases. The focus is on practical application: Participants work directly with TSEs, create their own tests and get to know typical test procedures step by step.

    TESTING TRAINING: Introduction to Automated Testing with TSE

     

    This training is intended for developers, test engineers, and project participants who wish to develop tests for machine applications in a structured and efficient manner using TSE.

    The standard training covers the fundamentals and best practices of unit testing over two days. Participants will learn how to create test projects, prepare C code for testing, understand the connection between C and Python, and implement unit tests according to a clear structure.

    The focus of the remaining two days will be on system tests. Participants will learn how to structure test sequences, transfer requirements into test cases, provoke errors, and document test results. Topics such as the Virtual Test Environment, test reports, procedures, and macros will also be covered in a practical way.

    The training can be carried out as a four-week online program or in a condensed format on-site, either at HYDAC Software in Großbeeren or at the customer’s location.

    The content can be adapted to the customer’s requirements. This allows for the establishment of focal points, such as unit testing, system testing, requirements traceability, test automation, or project-specific issues. For more extensive customizations or working on specific customer projects, we recommend a supplementary workshop.

    By the end of the training program, participants will be able to set up, execute, and further develop their own unit and system tests with TSE.

    • Deriving Test Cases from Requirements
    • Generation and evaluation of test reports
    • Working with procedures to better structure test logic
    • Introduction to Macros and Python-based Automation
    • Discussion of typical use cases from customer projects

    Basic knowledge of software development is helpful. Initial experience with MATCH or TSE is an advantage, but not mandatory.

    Grundkenntnisse in Softwareentwicklung sind hilfreich. Erste Erfahrungen mit MATCH oder TSE sind von Vorteil, aber nicht zwingend erforderlich.

    Scope

    4 training days, of which 2 days Unit Testing, 2 days of which are System Testing

    Alternatively, the training can be carried out as an online format over 4 weeks, for example with one training session per week. The specific duration and content weighting can be adjusted according to customer needs.
