Conventional steering systems often leave a lot to be desired: mechanical couplings between towing vehicle and trailer can only be adapted to other vehicle configurations with great effort and are also prone to failure and wear. Mechanical connections can bend, break or be damaged during the coupling process. And the more components involved, the greater the risk of wear – not only on the tyres, but also on the mechanical connection. This means high maintenance costs, low efficiency and repeated downtime – often when you can least afford a breakdown.

The solution

We have developed a solution that solves these problems: ADSteer Profi. The electrohydraulic additional steering system works without mechanical couplings between the towing vehicle and the trailer. This significantly reduces wear and tear and makes the solution more robust. Nothing can bend or break off.

ADSteer Profi offers maximum flexibility for trailers with a rigid axle and one or more steered axles. Regardless of which towing vehicle is used, the system steers around the rigid axle without lateral forces, thereby protecting the tyres.

ADSteer Profi also impresses with its user-friendliness: The software application works with the specified steering angles and with a wide range of speed sensors from the axle suppliers. Configuration changes, such as a change in tyre diameter or axle spacing, can be quickly and flexibly implemented in the system directly by the end customer. If the tractor has an ISOBUS interface, the steering system can be integrated and used without an additional display. Of course, a separate display solution is also available for machines without ISOBUS.
