New powerful Qt libraries
The new HYDAC Qt libraries give you a clear advantage: HAWK and FALCON enable you to develop modern HMIs and other Linux‑based devices with maximum quality, speed, and robustness.
HAWK: The HYDAC Qt library HAWK opens up groundbreaking possibilities for designing graphical user interfaces for embedded devices. Building on Qt’s powerful UI toolkit, HAWK supports hardware‑accelerated rendering for graphics and animations and offers an easy‑to‑learn programming language, the Qt Modeling Language (QML).
HAWK contains a comprehensive collection of standard controls such as buttons, text fields, and drop‑downs. But that’s not all – HAWK also provides advanced widgets including bar graphs, layout elements, and a fully integrated on‑screen keyboard. Additionally, the library offers a ready‑made application framework that can be transformed into a complete human‑machine interface (HMI) with navigation elements and a main menu using just a few lines of code.
Would you like to create modern user interfaces alongside your machine logic? Use our specialized machine widgets in HAWK-optimized for screen sizes starting at five inches – and embed your developments into our predefined page templates.
FALCON: HYDAC offers the perfect complement to HAWK for all machine bus systems, data connections, and IoT solutions: the Qt library FALCON. It provides uniform, object‑oriented, and production proven interfaces that enable you to immediately write hardware‑independent code that simply works. Hardware abstractions allow you to port your machine functions to different hardware platforms without changing the code. In addition, J1939 error managers help you analyze, activate, and send error messages.
NEW Qt LIBRARIES WITH AND WITHOUT MATCH: HAWK and FALCON are available both with and without our certified MATCH software platform. Using MATCH pays off if you want a graphical tool that handles initialization, configuration, and documentation tasks. The comprehensive toolchain fully supports the development of all HYDAC‑TTControl embedded devices in the Vision³ series, as well as the TTC Wave and TTC Fusion series.
While you focus on the application logic, the certified software platform takes care of the groundwork: With MATCH, you can automatically import all your bus definitions, error texts, CAN messages, and much more into your FALCON & HAWK project. This gives you access to all data during development in the IDE, which is kept up to date whenever changes are made. Complete initialization of the underlying hardware is also possible.
For diagnostics and service, the integrated Machine Service Tool (MST) is available. It automatically generates service pages from the imported data and displays them through a modern graphical interface.
Whether you use FALCON and HAWK with or without our powerful MATCH software platform, the new HYDAC Qt libraries impress with their flexibility and user‑friendliness – significantly accelerating your development process and shortening your time to market.
