Der Roboter, ausgestattet mit neuartigen energieeffizienten Schneidwerk, soll autonom den Unterwuchs zwischen den Beerenstr\u00e4uchern pflegen. \u201ePflegearbeiten k\u00f6nnen dann autonom ausgef\u00fchrt und sogar in die Nachtstunden verlegt werden. Wir gehen davon aus, dass sich der manuelle Arbeitsaufwand f\u00fcr die Strauchbeerenproduktion deutlich verringert und die reduzierten Verfahrenskosten zu h\u00f6herer Wertsch\u00f6pfung und damit auch zu mehr Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit der Betriebe beitragen\u201c, erkl\u00e4rt Prof. Dr.-Ing. Cornelia Weltzien, Koordinatorin des Projekts SunBot sowie Leiterin der Abteilung Technik im Pflanzenbau am Leibniz-Institut f\u00fcr Agrartechnik und Bio\u00f6konomie.
